Plan studiów

Program studiów ułożony jest przez doświadczony zespół praktyków, a specjalnie dla polskiej grupy zajęcia są prowadzone w języku angielskim oraz mają dodatkowe moduły zajęć teoretycznych i praktycznych pozwalających na uzupełnienie wiedzy koniecznej do ukończenia studiów. Studia są również dostępne dla lekarzy, którzy nie zdawali LEP-u. Zajęcia kliniczne organizowane są indywidualnie do potrzeb, możliwości i zainteresowań każdego z uczestników. Zajęcia teoretyczno-praktyczne są prowadzone w małych grupach we Włoszech na terenie uniwersytetu w Sienie oraz opcjonalnie w Polsce – część zajęć teoretycznych. Dodatkowo jest możliwość rozszerzania programu studiów o uczestnictwo – oglądanie zabiegów „live”.

4-5 days		 Implant–prosthetic treatment plan, the role of a periodontist, of a prosthetist and of a dental technician.
Periodontal anatomy vs. peri-implant anatomy. Pathogenesis of periodontal and peri–implant diseases. Clinical diagnosis, research and radiologic evaluation. Microbiologic and genetic diagnosis: arguments and method of application in periodontology and implant dentistry. Non surgical periodontal therapy. Therapeutic options x complex cases. The role of antibiotic therapy. Evaluation of risk factors. Decision making process in the plan of treatment.

The role of orthodontics

5-6 days		 Decision making process in choosing the implant surgery. The immediate post–extractive techniques of implant surgery; single, intercalative, multiple edentulism and complex rehabilitation.
Practical part.
Guided surgery within the treatment plan, indications, available techniques (Nobel Guide, Itero, Facilitate), prognosis.
Performance in surgical template laboratory.
Treatment plan, agenesis, increase in bone by means of tooth movement, complex cases.

2-3 days		 Diagnosis and aesthetic areas treatment. Advanced techniques of soft periodontal and peri-implant tissue reconstruction. Advanced techniques of hard tissue reconstruction x aesthetic areas. Literature assignment to students.

6 Surgical Conservative Techniques

Various prosthetic abutments, temporaries, impressions, structure tests, cementation.

7 Prosthetic rehabilitation of full arch cases
5-6 days		 The removable and fixed implant prostheses (overdentures) in rehabilitation of edentulous arches.
Principles of occlusion.
Patient selection according to the DVO, symmetry of the face, the smile, phonetics, the bone ridges, the presence of keratinized gingiva, surgical access, patient expectations and conditions for its health and social–economic situation.
The temporary restoration, the passivation of the frameworks, the alternative prosthetic, the prosthetic abutments, the attachments for overdentures.

NB; the participants will be allowed to be accompanied by their dental technicians at meetings at which laboratory parts will take place.
The participants will have the possibility to visit clinical units for practicing on patient. To enter for the final examination the participants must have taken active part in at least three clinical, implant-prosthetic cases in cooperation with professors regarding patients of the clinic.

 

Cały program studiów jest otoczony zindywidualizowaną opieką nad grupą, a do dyspozycji są wszyscy pracownicy uniwersytetu, co daje doskonały kontakt z wykładowcami.
Zajęcia kliniczne organizowane są indywidualnie do potrzeb, możliwości i zainteresowań każdego z uczestników. Istnieje możliwość indywidualnej pomocy w przygotowywaniu przypadków i dokumentacji,
koniecznych do ukończenia studiów.
Organizator studiów zastrzega sobie możliwość modyfikacji programu – niniejszy opis nie stanowi oferty handlowej w myśl art. 66 Kodeksu Cywilnego.
Przez cały okres trwania studiów jest prowadzona opieka i pomoc ze strony DenCo – co do koordynacji terminów i potrzebnej dokumentacji oraz materiałów, a także pomoc w rezerwacji, hotelu, dojazdów itd.
Jako, że studia odbywają się w pięknie położonej Sienie w samym sercu przepięknej Toskanii istnieje
możliwość organizacji wyjazdu z osobami towarzyszącymi.
